Karla – Raido Tattoo – has been tattooing for 20 years!  She asked me to photograph some of her markings on her clients, and capture some tattoo portraits. There is something so special about spending a day at her studio as past clients filter in to reminisce their tattoo experience with Karla.  Karla is leaving NZ soon, to become part of https://www.stonecircletattoo.com/ and so the conversations I witnessed were all about how loved she is, how much she’ll be missed, how treasured her markings on these people are. I also captured some branding photos of Karla’s talented hands and some tools that she uses to help her create her art.
